How do you get in on the fun?
Coming from Bradenton, take Cortez Rd. W through the Village. Turn R just before the drawbridge, to the stop sign on the little bridge. You’ll see Seafood Shack Marina ahead on your left, and Cortez Surf & Paddle is located in the North end of the Marina parking lot. You’ll see bright signage and boards, mailboxes and more waiting for you to come take a peek. If GPS is giving you issues, don’t hesitate to call 941-254-4154 for directions.
Once you make it to the shop, you’ll find a super safe launch dock, and an attentive staff ready to make sure everyone feels safe and equipped to hit the water. Owners Dan and Rochelle will go out of their way to make your day and offer free ice water and photos to everyone that tours with them. They want to do more than just introduce you to stand up paddle boarding or kayaking, but to help you share their love of the sport. So as they say….
Don’t just sit there… STAND UP AND PADDLE!
